Nashville, TN – “Get Gone” is the newest single from breakout pop-country duo SixForty1. “Get Gone” is a summer jam that’ll make you want to hit the back road to put the mind and soul at ease. The duo continues to gain momentum and turn heads, all while having yet to release a full-length album.
SixForty1 have been growing their fanbase since their move to Nashville in 2018. From the start, they were adopted by Music City with open arms and landed a passionate core fanbase. SixForty1 has toured with worldwide favorites like Brantley Gilbert and Michael Ray, who are just a couple mega country acts to become quick champions of the duo.
The new song follows the release of “Forget Those Heels” and “Somebody’s Gonna” earlier this year as well as 2019’s “Next Kiss,” “Plane Crazy” and the double A-Side single release of “Show You Around” and “I Get That.”
SixForty1 have received nearly 7 million streams and have been featured on major Spotify playlists like “Breakout Country,” “New Boots,” “Next from Nashville,” “Wild Country,” and “Young Music City” – all this and the band has yet to release their debut full-length album. American Songwriter points out: “While they’ve yet to release a debut record, the singles and two EPs they’ve released thus far have demonstrated the duo’s innate ability to write catchy, pop-country tunes.”
SixForty1 (Brooks Hoffman and Austin Gee) are bringing people together in a big way. The duo originally formed when the two met at Murray State, in Kentucky. Since then, the goal of the band was to bring people together, through their music, as does highway 641, the band’s namesake.
Since making the move to Nashville in 2018, they have managed to create quite a buzz. The two have unique and inimitable songwriting chemistry and a knack for catchy and clever musical phrasing.
The group has found early success and fandom, attracting Aaron Tannenbaum, CAA booking agent powerhouse who is also responsible for Luke Combs, Martina McBride, Brantley Gilbert, and Brett Young. The group also turned the head of manager Aaron Keiser at Morris Higham Management; a Nashville based management company representing artists Brandon Lay, Brantley Gilbert, Carly Pearce, Kenny Chesney, Michael Ray, and Old Dominion. Since Tannenbaum and Keiser came on board, SixForty1 has toured with several acts including Brantley Gilbert, Michael Ray, Walker Hayes, and Muscadine Bloodline, while also making appearances at Brantley Gilbert’s first and second annual Kick It In The Ship cruise.
